Is this the Lincoln-Douglas debates of 1858 all over again? Can a relative unknown upset a seasoned Senator? Even though Lincoln lost the senate race that year, he went on to beat Douglas for the 1860 bid for president, and we all know what happened then! Will it be kismet? Only time will tell.
