President-Elect Obama has promised change. That will require a new approach to old problems. As such, his cabinet should be made up of members who hold our country's best interests at heart, not the best interests of lobbyists and big corporations. His selection of Rahm Emanuel as Chief of Staff reflects a desire to hold members of congress accountable regardless of political ties. The Chief of Staff needs to be tough in order to fight the tough, corrupt, and aggressive representatives of big businesses and it seems that in choosing Emanuel he has found such a member. Emanuel's reputation as a politician is so ferocious that even his own mother calls him by his nickname of "Rahmbo."
Apparently, if Emanuel had not become a politician he could have been a professional dancer; he trained in ballet at school and was even offered a scholarship to the world-renowned Joffrey Ballet School. Maybe he can remember some of that fancy footwork to dance around his predators.
