As we celebrate this Thanksgiving let us remember those who are less fortunate than us; those who have no roof over the head; no clothes on their back to keep them warm and no food on their table; those who live in areas of strife and war. Pray for the countries where terrorists are currently bombing hotels and taking hostages and killing innocent people; for those people who live in places where fear, terror and repression are a way of life, not just today but always.
Let us be thankful for our family and friends, our health, our happiness. Let us be grateful that we live in such a great country - though we may not always agree with the politics at least we have that choice. And even though our country is going through a crisis, we are going through it together as a family. We can help each other out - the smallest assistance can mean so much to someone else.
Remember - strangers are just friends that you haven't met yet.
Happy Turkey day!
